Mr. Kheyfets graduated from Kutafin Moscow State Law University.
He worked as a senior lawyer in the Ingosstrakh insurance company, and afterwards, in 2006, he was assigned to serve as General Counsel of the Russian-Asian Investment Company, which managed non-core assets of the Basic Element Group (Базовый элемент). Sergey specialized in investment projects and M&A deals related to real estate development, including due diligence review of acquired assets and analysis and development of financial structures of deals. From 2011 to 2012 he served as a Project Executive of Axiom of Law (Аксиома права) – a law firm that was a part of the RU-COM industrial and investment group.
Sergey published a number of articles in various Russian periodicals, including Consultant (Консультант), Chief Accountant (Главбух) and Tax Newsletter (Налоговый вестник).
